I am a reseller for local splash. I have had A LOT of trouble with local splash in terms of returning calls, getting reports and charging me when keywords are not showing. However, this is not the main issue as this was resolved after battling through with supervisors. The REAL issue is that the first time I cancelled an account, they cancelled it but then called the client directly and resold the client at a lower rate than I was selling it! I let it slide, didn't think much of it, but today, I had another client cancel and again, one of their reps called him directly and sold the package at a lower rate again! My client called and told me directly what they said and forwarded me the email that was sent to them. I addressed the rep directly and I told him I was going to report this to management and he said "This is what we are trained to do." They WILL call your clients and resell them. Since they have to have all their information, its very easy for them to do so. As of today, I will NEVER USE LOCAL SPLASH AGAIN. I suggest you find another first. Just google 'local maps marketing' or 'local maps agencies' and you will find no shortage of them. DO NOT USE LOCAL SPLASH! I can give you the name of the rep. Just email me directly. Initials TJ. And when you first talk with them, they will promise you the world! They will tell you how they are personally going to take care of the matters for you, they will personally see to it that you get all the reports on time and return every phone call. BS! They just want more accounts.
