My husband and I decided to buy a semi and went to Pacific Junction, Iowa to purchase the truck after speaking with their sales people several times. They made everything sound just wonderful. When we got there they had two trucks for us to chose from, both volvo 780's. Both were pretty nice in appearance but that is pretty much it. On the truck we chose we noticed one of the steer tires had a chunk taken out of it so they replaced the front two tires. We took the truck and had it dino'd. It passed that test and we took the truck home.
We didn't have the truck home maybe two weeks and the air conditioner went out. We replaced that. Then the truck started missing so we had the overhead ran. (didn't do a bit of good) Took the truck to a volvo dealer and they said one of the injectors was bad. (replaced that) Not to mention all the fuel filters we have replaced due to all the garbage in the fuel tanks. We also had to replace the alternator. Finally had enough and called Lone Mountain to which all they say is we don't finance repairs. As the other person stated they are very rude and hateful, after the sell. Thank God for the what warranty we did have. Anyway the last straw with Lone mountain happened this past week. We just had our truck towed from the interstate in Ohio. The clutch went out and the air charger went out. Our truck is only a 2007 and should not have all these issues. It is apparent that Lone Mountain DOES NOT check these trucks thoroughly before they put them out for sale. There is NO service after the sell with this company. We have been out over $10,000.00 in repairs since April of this year and have the receipts to prove it.
They had the audacity to send us a free coffee cup and sales cards after we called them for help, they wanted us to recommend their company. I will never recommend Lone Mountain to anyone, because I DO NOT want them to go through the hardships my husband and I have gone through since we purchased this truck in April of this year.
The OWNER of Lone Mountain should make a call to the drivers who purchase these trucks and see just how happy they are with their truck they have purchased from him. I'm sure there are many unsatisfied Lone Mountain truck owners out there besides us. |

I am the owner of Lone Mountain and I would welcome a call from you, because what you are stating here is completely made up. We thoroughly check every truck, and let every customer check their truck before leaving. We even allow customers to get DOT and Dyno inspections at 3rd party shops.
We aren't selling new trucks. On a used truck, most experts say you can expect about $1000/month in maintenance. If you don't know how to inspect a truck, and don't want to take responsibility for the maintenance of a truck, feel free to bring it back to our location and I will return your down payment. Being owner operators might not be the right thing for you.

I was rip off also by this company they are crooks they steal yourdown payment
Then a month after you spend your life savings on repairing. The
Lemon they sell you they come and reposes and sell it to another sucker
They must be stopped and put out of business. |

what the owner fails to tell you is you have to sign on the dotted lines BEFORE you can have it
looked at by a third party shop or did that change????
i would'nt buy from here again !!!

| Dont feel bad... I have owned several trucks and the volvo i got from lone mountain is the worst f**king i have ever taken... First the salesman says before i can go any further i had to pay the deposit (down payment) then he promise to fix everything within a couple days this of course didnt happen and the autoshift tranny was sticking between gears.. I told him i didnt want the truck, to my shock the down payment is non refundable... So i told him i wanted a different truck he claimed there wasnt any available. I told him i would wait then he informed me that i only had ex number of days to take possesion or i loose out (they already had my down payment) so there i was faced with take this truck or nothing and loose my downpayment. he talked me into taking possesion and if the tranny gave me a problem then call and they would take care of it... I called as soon as i made my first trip and was basically told too bad you shouldnt have left with it... I called iowa and the only person i was allowed to talk too was a stupid bitch named nikki and again the basic response was to pass the buck. the truck has been nothing but a big problem and is down right now again for the transmission. there was many complaints on the internet about these people but they have one hell of an it team, they are very busy chasing down blogs and consumer complaint boards and censoring what is on them.. The reason bbb has limited complaints is because they are operating under a new name and location.. Mr hoovenstol (a jew fuck) renamed a bounced this scam from nevada, nebraska, iowa and these are just the ones i have been able to track down... I do not hide who i am but they do... I have been able to use a sniff to detect th i.p. Addresses of some positive bloggers and about 3 out of 5 had the same ip address... Like i said they have a great IT person... Do beware and check out their complaints on ripoffreport.com that is a site that they cant earase negative info from... |

| wow im so glad that i came across this was headed to lonestar in the morning with my $5000 to pick up a volvo 780 now i think i will look around some more...thanks for the heads up |
