| I hired Mr. Datlof to help me with my Loan Modification in hopes of saving my home. I was told by Mr. Datlof that it would take approximately one year to deliver results. More specifically, over the course of the 11/2 year’s, I have constantly left messages on his voicemail or with his receptionist, asking that you call me back directly with any information on where the process is at and/or for an updated time line regarding the pending Loan Modification. Recently, I have left numerous messages with his receptionist. To no avail, I have yet to receive a phone call back from him directly as requested. I completed all loan modification paperwork myself as well as maintained phone contact with my lender which Mr. Datlof was aware of. Recently, I discovered that my loan servicing agency Litton was sold. I was told that Mr. Datlof was notified by mail of the changes, but failed to forward the information to me. To date, I have yet to receive a letter or phone call from Mr. Datlof advising me of the sale let alone the name, address and phone number of the new lender. Mr. Datlof has done nothing to assist me in the modification process to date. As a result of his lackluster professionalism, combined with the lack of any concrete results from having retained your services for over a 1 ½ year period, I am extremely unsatisfied. I emailed and faxed Mr. Datlof as a means to inform him that I want my money back that I have paid him in the full amount of $1,8000.00. I have discussed Mr. Datlof's business practices with several other unhappy colleagues of mine who also retained him and it has become apparent that Mr. Datlof's bad business practices are rather common. Mr. Datlof is a scam and a Thief. Do NOT hire him as he will take your money and refuse to provide services that were paid for. He is a disgrace of a "human being" he prays on the people who need help the most and are struggling financially he could care a less if his so called "clients" lose their home. This is evident as he has failed to provide any services to myself or several of my co-workers as several of us have completed our own Modification Paperwork because Mr. Datlof refuses to return phone calls, e mails or faxes that are sent to him. Mr. Datlof is NOT an attorney he is a worthless animal and another reason why attorneys have such a bad reputation. Me and several of my co-workers have submitted a complaint to the State of Nevada Bar Association in hopes he will not be allowed to scam others. |
