Lowes I'm so happy they let my buy something from them. Springdale, Arkansas

Hello. I was posting in regard to two stores actually. I recently went to the Lowes in Springdale AR. I bought a lamp and table set for sixty dollars. I got it home, opened the box, and found all of the wrapping in duct tape.


Then to top that off, the glass for the top of the table didn't fit and the table wobbled extremely bad. So that is the first store. I decided that "Well maybe that is just the store in Springdale."


So I needed curtain rods for the house I just purchased. I drove ten miles to Fayetteville AR. I bought three curtain rods and spent over a hundred dollars. Idrove home and came to find that one of the curtain rods was also a return. There were only 2 screws and I needed 6. I look at the screws and they're stripped out. It didn't come with any anchors for the screws either.


I'm fed up. I call the 1-800 number. They tell me that someone from the store is gonna call me within 24 hours. I get the call today and all they can tell me is that he's sorry.


So I decide to take the curtain rod back to the store in Fayetteville and see if I can talk to the manager or supervisor face to face to see if I get better results. A zone manager by the name of Jesse comes to the return desk and I explain to him what all had happened.


He lied straight to my face and told me that it was impossible thatI bought these like this because they send all the returns back to the manufacturer. He says that they do not go back on the shelf to be sold again.


Was he calling me a liar? Was he saying that I took it to my house and put the curtains up and decided that I didn't like them? Whatever he was saying, it was very unprofessional how I was treated.


I'm not looking for anything for free or anything of the sort. I'm just looking for some results from all of the trouble I have had to put up with. I used to live in Branson MO and I've been to the Lowes in Hollister MO. That is the best Lowes I have ever stepped foot into.


So I found it pretty odd that these stores down here are ran so differently. By differently, I mean poorly. I have stood around waiting on someone for 20 minutes or more in the stores in Springdale and Fayetteville.


I don't want to talk to the managers at either of the stores. I have already tried that and they don't seem to care about their customers. They're more worried about standing around talking with all of the other employees. I just wanted to let someone know how bad of an experience I have been through. As far as me, I will never step foot in another Lowes as long as this hasn't been resolved. Thank you for your time.
