I bought my first MJ about 3 yrs ago. However, about a month after renewing it, it broke so I contacted them via their chat line and told them it broke but I just renewed it and still had 11 mos of service left on it. The rep said that I have to buy another MJ but the remaining 11 mos will be added to the new MJ balance and I just need to contact MJ again when I get the new MJ. Based on her advice, I purchased another MJ which came with a 1 year subscription. However, when I contacted their chatline again, another rep told me that I was told wrong by the other rep, that they cannot add the 11 mos to my new MJ. So I requested my credit card company to reverse the renewal charge on my credit card. I thought that was fair since the balance could not be added to my new MJ. A year later, when I tried to renew the second MJ that I bought, I found that I couldn't renew it online. I tried several times but still couldn't renew it. So I contacted MJ again via chatline and told them I was not able to renew online. I was told that a block was put on my account because I had asked for a refund of my renewal. I told them why I had asked for a refund and I was told by the rep that she will report the problem. She said she couldn't renew for me. I have contacted MJ so many times about this issue and talked to so many reps who said they have reported it and will follow up on the issue. Today, 07/12/11 which is about a year later, I contacted MJ again to see if the issue is resolved and I was told that the issue is still under review. About a year has passed and it is still under review???? I don't think they will ever resolve it!! They were punishing me for requesting for a refund of my renewal subscription but I felt what I did of requesting a credit from my credit card company was right. They shouldn't have put a block on my account. I have two MJs registed in that account and unfortunately I cannot renew either one.

So my advice if you have a MJ, do not renew for more than a year. And use one separate account for each MJ. That way, if you ever have an issue with them, you will still be able to renew your other MJ. Because they take ages to resolve issues.

Well, I guess you get what you pay for. I must say thought that it is still cheap phone service for $19.95 a year. My other complaint is that everytime I buy a new MJ, I have to spend an hour or more to improve the audio quality.
