Manhattan Mercedes
Manhattan Mercedes Parking Break scam New York, New York
6th of Apr, 2011 by User319998
Have you picked up your car from Manhattan Mercedes only to have a problem where the emergency break cable/spring sensor THEN is broken and BEEPING until the car goes back in for $650 more in repairs. The first time this happened to me AFTER getting my car back from yearly servicing, I did not think about it and paid the cost. Two years later when i had a different Mercedes and a new service rep and the same thing happened again (especially since I never use my parking break) it hit me that this is a SCAM for them to make money. I told them that this is very suspicious and they held my car for 5 more days, told me they ordered the wrong parts. I am wondering if there are others out there who have had this happen to them and can prove that this problem started once they got their car back from service.
