I was contacted by phone by some one offering me $120 in gas "rebate", they had my credit card number and told me that they would charge me $2.95 for shipping and I would have 30 day to cancel a membership for if I didnt cancel they would charge $29.95/mo....first thing(my mistake) I assumed that the gas "rebate" was a gas card......no you have to fill out a form and send it in then they send you 24 $5 coupons at the rate of 2/mo thats $10/mo then they charged me $2.95 twice................. I called 18006600016 the day they called and solicited me and was told that if I called back in 72hrs they would be able to tell me who contacted me.......well surprise surprise they cant tell you. Anyway they are slick and talk fast they tell you two different memberships they are sending you but it really just sounds like its going to be one hence the two $2.95 charges the 18006600016 phone number identifies there company name as "Member Services" they say there office is out of Great Falls Minnesota and the call center is 50mi north of the Bay area in CA(wouldnt give a address or city). Anyway they did cancel my memberships and refund both $2.95 charges. Here are some phone numbers and other info I found during my little adventure, also if anyone can figure out how to report these people to the BBB please do it and post how to do it so everyone can join.

To Whom it concerns,
I am Kelly Cooper and I want you to cancell all transactions and memberships that you are charging to my bank account! I can't seem to get anyone on the phone to have this issue taken care of. I am from Kendrick, Idaho if you needed to know that. The sooner this matter is taken care of the better. Thank you for your cooperation.

I got a call saying I won $120 gas card for using my visa to purchase from someone else. he had my name, credit card number and expiration date. said it was $2.95 shipping charge for gas card then I had 30 days to decide if I wanted to keep for $29.95 per month, but gas cards were to keep even if I cancelled. I said cancelled what? what is $29.95 mo for? which he never answered. I said how did you get my credit card info? he was fast talker kept going around in circles on everything I ask him. I kept saying I did not give anyone authority to give my credit card info to anyone else period. I kept asking who are you, he said it was smart shoppers & leisure time savings. I said can I look your company up online because your not making any sense to me and I want to read exactly who your company is and who gave you my credit card info. I am very upset about this . he said he was putting woman on phone to go over details with me. when she came on she said her name is melissa. I questioned her. she said he has already explained all this, I am just confirming we will charge your visa $2.95 to mail your $120.00 gas card and $29.95 per mo after 30 days. I kept asking her where did you get my credit card number & info from and she got ruder by the question. I finally said, you don't have to be so rude to me when you called my phone, said you have my visa card number, expiration date and name on card without me giving it to you and are saying you are charging $2.95 plus $29.95 per month to my card, but I am not suppose to be upset or allowed to know who gave you unauthorized details of my visa card info . I said what company are you, she said vista services. I said the man said smart shoppers? she said ok? so! I said what is your name, she said martha. I said when you got on phone you said melissa, so which is it? she said you know what, your not getting the $120.00 gas cards, so how about that and I do still have your visa card number and all your info!! she then said, you have a nice day but your not getting gas cards and I will do what I want with your visa card info and she hung up!! I tried to call number they had called me from back. it was 231-337-2147 . I called repeatedly but just got busy signal! caller ID name said confirmsales with above number. I am outraged. first on who that I purchased something from would give my credit card info to this obvious rip off company, and second that they had nerve to not only be rude when I questioned who they are and how they got my credit card info but to taunt me by saying she has my credit card private access and can do whatever she wants with it! ha! ha! ha! how do I know they are not charging up my visa card at this very moment or getting all my banking info and identity theft to destroy my finances! who can stop this kind of situation and how can someone who I did buy something from have the unauthorized right to give my credit card info to someone I did not authorize to have it! can anyone please help on this!1 I looked up smart shopper. com and came across this site where others have been ripped off too!

I had a call from these guys yesterday afternoon just as I was finishing up my lunch break (they did make me late back from lunch as a result)!
Long story - I've never had this sort of thing happen to me before so I didn't know what to think or expect! After all, they didn't ask me to read details from my card as they already had the info. And they were very clever in saying that they were with Mastercard, so I figured it was part of my bank! All they wanted me to do was say ok to them charging me for S&H to send this pack of info out! I said "OK" to their S&H charges of $2.95 because - as she said - who turns down a free coupon for $120 in gas for doing nothing other than look at the pack of info that they send you! BUT once I agreed to that, the lady (Maria) offered me ANOTHER deal for $100 in coupons for Target/Walmart and other big chains for signing up for this Auto USA thing! This is where I started to regret my initial decision, so I said no to that, BUT she wasn't taking no for an answer. All I kept thinking about was "I'm late for work..."! So I caved in and said "OK" to another charge of $3.95 S&H! It was only AFTER I finished the conversation that I really thought about it. And jeez do they talk fast!!! I kept asking them questions and all I got was scripted messaging. But she was so nice on the phone that I didn't see a problem with it. Then I called my bank and they offered to cancel my bank card, or I could research it first to see what it was all about - I chose research because it is a pain in the butt to change all those direct payments when its set up with your bank card!! I didn't even know who they were, so how do you research that? Thankfully I wrote down their call-back number and searched for that (1800-660-0016 for those who are interested). I also searched for the original number that called me! I don't think its one of the bad scams where they steal $1000’s from your account, but it is a scam! How they got my card details in the first place, I do not know! I'm not happy about that at all!
I called them back this evening to ask what is going on with the charges (as the charge for $3.95 just came out of my account today) and "Mindy" said that she couldn't pull the account up for 72 hours, or 3 business days! Now when I called them yesterday afternoon, the guy (Joe) said that I could call up today and it would be there. Hmmmm... me thinks someone is trying to pull a fast one! I was polite, said thank you and hung up. I figured its no use yelling at her for a stupid mistake that I made!
Either way, I called my bank right afterwards and cancelled that card. They are shipping me out a new one, but were unable to report it to the fraud department because technically I did agree to the S&H charges. I will learn a hard lesson from this and NEVER agree to anything like that again. I wonder whether these people will try to call me back when they realize that I’ve canceled the card! I’m certainly not going to be that naive again!

Holy Cow...do not sign up with this company...this is a criminal organization.
I had the same redicoulous initial experience that everyone above stated with a very pushy sales lady that kept saying "congradulations, you just won a $120 gas card" because of a recent purchase I supposedly made..
Now get this, I don't use this card, I haven't in years and I received a call yesterday from my card company's FRAUD Dept. stating that someone had just "tested" my card by charging and refunding $1.
The fraud dept. shut down the card.
Then, I recieve this call today from Vista Services and they have the number for this card I never use and state that I had recently used my card and it qualified me for the "free" gas card. I could immediately smell the fertilizer they were spreading over the phone and made the connection that this is the company that tested my card.
I called the company's 800-315-3904 number the good person provided above and talked to a customer service rep who stated they got my card and contact information from a "Marketing Partner" who i had recently purcahsed something through. I asked who and he told me I could write to a PO Box address and ask them, but he would not have this information. I have no doubt that there is a garbage can on the other side of the mail slot for all the "important" mail they receive.
As we all know, no legitimate company is going to pass around customer credit card numbers to another company who wants to scam you. This company is bad news, they are likely stealing or buying stolen credit card information and trying to scam everyone they can into their bad "deal".
Hopefully, when you read this you are validateing that this company is pure scum and you did not sign up for their scam. If you did fall for their convincing scam...take action. Call your card company to cancel the charge and call Vista Services and tell them to immediately cancel your participation in their scam.
Good luck!
