My niece ordered 2 tickets for Jersey Boys Nov. 9th matinee as a surprise present for my birthday. When the tickets arrived the face value of each ticket was $127.00 The company charged $401.32 ; $254 for the tickets /$147.32 in fees. We called to complain but, of course, there was no recourse. The fine print is a license to exploit. I really don't know how the person who processed her order sleeps at night. He or she could probably tell by her voice that she was young and inexperienced in how these things work. She was so excited about surprising me with the tickets that I don't have the heart to tell her that she has been taken by an unscrupulous company. Eventually I will tell her because scam artists like this have to be stopped. Incidentally I needed another ticket for a friend. I called a reputable business and got a ticket for the same performance , in the same row for $137.00.
