We originally contacted Michael Hays of www.truckingwebdesign on 8/16/11. I received a "hard quote" from him on 8/18/11. We had several conversations by phone and email, and I checked out his work. Seemed legitimate, and the websites looked good. When I paid him a deposit of $500 to begin work on our site and SEO program (not unusual in web development to pay a deposit), ALL communication stopped. I left MANY emails, voicemails, social media contacts, basically every way I could think of to contact him. ...nothing. I have not heard anything from him for 7 days, even though he promised to have a "framework" site up in 2-3 days. Beware of this individual; he says all the right things, has a good web presence, but is nothing but a dot-com con man. We still don't have a good website, and are out $500.
