Mike Leffingwell pulled another bait and switch on a real good friend of the Community. I just found out that Mike Leffingwell had purchased a motorcycle from a customer of his with a "Hot" check and on the same day turned around and sold this same motorcycle to this unsuspecting scam victim. Knowing that he was pulling this scam, he continued to tell this victim different stories about getting him the title. The whole time this "Victim" rode this stolen Motorcycle around actually thinking it was his. This victim had the motorcycle serviced, fully insured, and stored in a very safe place. Then this "Victim" said he received a phone call from a guy who claimed that the bike was his and that Mike Leffingwell had written him a "hot" check and has been trying to get his motorcycle back, with nothing but a lot of stories.
This "victim" never received a title w/ bill of sale so he actually gave the rightful owner his motorcycle back. I asked the "victim" if he was going to press charges and all he would say is "no comment".
Now my involvement in all this ....
I am good friends with both parties, and have actually done business, not much, but have done some business with Mike Leffingwell. I almost believed his stories at first but I soon realized that he had ulterior motive. The "Bait" victim" was one of his students of his "Chopper School" ( which was another scam) and the "Switch Victim" is an Advocate for The City of Nashville's Homeless and a very well known pillar of the Community. I don't believe this Scam Artist should get away with this.
I will be glad to give anyone the name and Number of Mike Leffingwell's Parole Officer. She will be glad to hear from you. Just email me... I remain...
