My uncle and aunt have invested over 17,000 into a prospect delivered and arranged by Morgan Forbes in a hotel development located in Ponto Do Prago. It has been over 18 Months since the initial investment and no real development or communication has come about in regards to the progress of the hotel. There has been some noise in that there could be a potential buy-out from a hotel management group, however nothing concrete has come about. The website has promoted a recent press trip with no real indication of development or progress! They seem to have two ambassadors to endorse and legitmise the investment but i feel that its another scam similar to the great Sir Geoff Hurst Hursthttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1252960/World-Cup-hero-Geoff-Hursts-used-abused-Spanish-property-scam.html. I've posed as a new customer and also as my uncle & aunt, gaining two different stories, one of a yes, development is moving along nicely in a subtle manner and one highlighting the possibility of the investment being bought out. I am not sure what to do and seeking as much help as possible online and to raise awareness that please take due dilligence when conducting business with Morgan Forbes as there is a real slim chance that this is just another shoddy off-plan investment co-op to rob people of their hard earned money. Hi Ian, Have you tried to contact Morgan Forbes directly? I am also a client of theirs. Their development news has been slow but I have always been informed of what has been happening. I suggest you pick up the phone. William A.
