| WHAT A GODD*MN SCAM ARTIST! I was compelled to make my case and write my horrific story about dealing with this fraud con man who calls himself an "attorney" after reading similar posts and complaints on the web. It is obvious that I am NOT the only one who got scammed by this con man! Here is how the story goes: My aunt and uncle are legally blind and therefore have a difficult time doing simple tasks and doing paperwork, hence were incapable of doing a loan modification on her their mortgage on their own so therefore they needed to rely on someone else with expertise. They came across this salesman who claimed to work directly with an attorney in Massachusetts. This man basically told my uncle and aunt (who are legally blind) that he works directly with a "super" lawyer who is also a real estate attorney that speciallizes with negotiating with banks. He also said that the attorney whose real name is MOSS SIDELL has relationships with the major banks and that a modification is almost guaranteed to anyone who retains him. My uncle and aunt desperately needed someone to do the paperwork and negotiating so they decided that it would be wise to rely on a lawyer who can handle the loan modification case from beginning to end. It has been over 9 months and my uncle and aunt has never received messages or phone calls from the attorney, a paralegal not even a representative of the company! To make matters worse, last week my uncle received a letter in which he couldnt read (because he is legally blind) and asked me to help as he kept calling the attorney's office and no one would return his phone calls , not even the salesman. As I read the letter it clearly indicated that MOSS SIDELL is no longer a "general counsel" to the company that my Uncle and Aunt relied on to do their paperwork for the loan modification and that my file was being sent to another office and the liability was therefore transfered out of MOSS SIDELL to another organization in New York! I also asked my aunt and uncle if they have the contract with the attorney and if they have any paperwork to show that they retained the attorney they told me that the salesman never gave back the contract to my uncle!! IN CONCLUSION, my uncle's FILE DISSAPEARED FROM MOSS SIDELL AND is PHYSICALLY in another state!!! My uncle NEVER received the contract back!! Basically, they have no proof but the piece of letter that says that their file has been shipped to New York!!!!THIS ATTORNEY FORMULATED A SCHEME AND TO CON MY UNCLE OUT OF HIS WRITTEN AGREEMENT AND MONEY BECAUSE HE WAS BLIND!!! THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO GIVE HIM THE CONTRACT THAT HE SIGNED!!!!They determined that because my uncle and aunt was blind that they can pull a fast one! Thats exactly what happened, how dare an attorney can take advantage of struggling homeowners especially when they cant see and need to rely on an attorney for help. If blind people can not rely on a lawyer these days, then we as society are truly morally corrupted and disturbed. Please respond to this as I know there are many "clients" of Moss Sidell out there who are in the same position as my aunt and uncle. We can work together to stop this con man from perpetrating any more fraud on defenseless people. Shame on Moss Sidell! Shame on the salesman and the organization he employs!!! SHAME ON THEM!! |
