I hired Mr. Sandless out of the Greensboro franchise to re-do the wood floors in my historic cottage. A couple of teenagers showed up. I was skeptical, but they sounded knowledgable enough, so I went with the company. After deciding to use the company, the sells pitches started. I was told that I "needed" to apply stain to my floors to cover up damage. Since these guys were supposed to be the experts, I went with it. However, my floors do not look stained. Instead, they look like a layer of paint was applied on top. In addition to making my floors look terrible, these teenagers got "stain" on my baseboards. When I notified the franchise owner, he sent the kids back out. They could not remove the stain and told me, "Sorry, that's all we can do." The owner never came to my home to examine the work and never offered. When I complained about the workmanship, he offered to send the kids back out for a fee. These kids sat in their Scion smoking cigarettes the majority of the day while the paint they applied to my floor was drying. This is a very unprofessional company that will ruin your floors in order to sell you something you don't need - like paint on your floors. The owner is obviously lazy as well. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY ON SANDING. After roughly two years, the paint and whatever finsh they used is scuffed and pealing from everyday, light traffic.
