They advertise to be on time or your money back. No Malarkey- call Mister Sparky. You call and they give you a 3 hour window. Fair enough. Then they call 15 minutes prior to arriving (the guy was at my door within 5 minutes of the call- so they were on time guaranteed). $59 hoax. The guy proceeds to look at my space heater, I know the power it took blew out the circut.I am notinterested in the heater, I am interested in getting power back on my porch. He then procedes to sell me a membership.Never even opened the panel to the breaker. Then he tells me it will cost $298 to diagnose the problem. scam scam scam.Stay away. This Franchise is stealing from the public. Do not give them your "Travel Fee" hard earned dollars. They come out and try and sell you a membership and quote you a price to give advice. That $298 was not to fix anything- just to tell me what the problem is.

Yes they are a rip off. I worked for this company, a franchise in the Delaware area. What they do is a scam from the time you call in. They start the appointments at $99 and then work down if you are lucky you will get stand by $39. Then once a Technician as they like to call us shows up it is game on, it is all about the selling. The white shirt the shiny shoes, come on we are electricians really who wants that. They give a whole credibility statement and on it goes to justify the cost. So your light switch needs replacing this is how it goes. Service Fee $59.00 then they want to troubleshoot the whole circuit $209.00 then replace the switch $52 so a simple repair with a $1.00 part cost $320.00 then they want you to buy the club, 10% off any future repairs is all you really get. To do the same simple repair with an hourly rate electrician would cost approx. $155.00 less than 1/2 of MR. Sparky
