My story is much the same as everyone else, only it took place a few years ago. Back then she was going by Nicole Methvin. When things got too hot from all the complaints for not honoring her guarantee, sending the wrong dog & not sending paper work, sick dogs etc, she changed her name to Ashley Anderson and said it was because she had gotten married. I sure didn't change my first name when I got married, but then again I wasn't trying to hide from a multitude of people wanting her to make good on her guarantee or to get paper work on their dogs. Her link now for MS Puppy Connection takes you to BoutiqueTeaCuppuppies.com. Same old tricks, when things get hot, you drop the kennel name that is causing the most problems. She certainly doesn't want prospective buyers to read the truth and lose a sale.
I had my puppy 19 days. She was sick from day 1. She spent the last 7 days in a critical care vet clinic, Norwood in Indiana, and the 2 days before that in North East Animal Clinic, our regular vets, and another day in another, Hughes Clinic.The 10 days she was in my care was spent going from one clinic after another trying to save her. She cost me $3200 and I amassed another $1500 in vet bills. I don't know about anyone else's financial situation, but the loss of that kind of money on a retired teacher's pension was a hardship for me. I had the money saved for the pup, I wasn't prepared to dish out vet bill money other than for regular vaccinations, worming, heartworm meds etc. It was a great hardship financially not to mention the stress and loss of the puppy. She had a congenital defect. Nicole didn't honor her guarantee.
I took Gracie/Gabi to Purdue University for a necropsy, more money. When I sent the report to Nicole/Ashley she signed off & wouldn't take delivery and signed that she didn't take Purdue's report. I sent it registered mail.I still have the slip. Nicole wouldn't take my calls unless I borrowed someone's cell with a different area code. When we did speak, she was rude and insolent with me. I posted a complaint on TheSqueakyWheel.com and couldn't believe there were so many complaints about her. They had the same stories I am reading now. One lady saw my complaint and said she had put a $500 deposit on the pup I got. She was to pay $1800. Then Nicole/Ashley found a bigger sucker who would pay more, me.
I have a 4 inch file on her. I logged, printed and saved all the paper work. I still have it. I have checked in from time to time and when I found all the complaints I couldn't keep quiet anymore. There are too many good breeders out there that will do their best to make things right with you. Better yet, the local shelters have many to pick from and you're more than welcome at their establishment. I now have a small 4 yr old Yorkie that is doing great at only 3 lbs. I won't tell you she hasn't had a few health issues, but the breeder did offer to pay for my vet bills. What a nice change. Avoid the heartache and high costs of dealing with Nicole/Ashley. Out of curiosity I counted up the money she had made on her recently sold page $471,750.00. I know expenses etc have not been taken out of this amt... but if she makes that kind of money, she can afford to make right on her promises. You can email me for my phone number.
