Musictronics Pro Wrote a bad check and will not make good lansing, Illinois
15th of Apr, 2011 by User602002
This company wrote me a bad check for services I performed at their location They list on the website they have items in stock..I have been in the location. There is no equipment just an empty space with a rack of cables and a telvision. There is not even a name of the building. When you call it will tell you that customer service is busy. But the person's voice is the same person that wrote the bad check and there is no custmer service reps. This is just a scam. Don't order anything over the internet from these people. There is nothing there.

I placed an order with Musictronics Pro nearly 2 months ago. They were quick to debit my credit card over $5600, but have broken promise after promise since. They even use false names and think they are fooling me in to believing that there are more than one or two employees. Steve Perez is purportedly the owner and won't even return my phone calls or emails. Occasionally, I will speak with a Mike, Able, and someone else who randomly makes up a name, but they are all the same person. They have even gone so far as to lie to me saying it was shipped and then that a portion of the shipment was lost and redirected, then promising me a credit and reshipment. It's sad that they victimize people without conscience or remorse. I am contacting the Illinois Attorney General's office. In the meantime, do not give these people, sorry person with aliases, a penny!

I have never had any problems with them .. I ordered $8, 000 of equipment and received it with no problems. I highly recommend them . Actually I have also visited them and have met Mike, Abel and Steven and they are all legit. For all of the customers who want to see a site they can trust please visit Bizrate.com which is a great way to actually see real reviews from real paying customers and trustlink.com ( which is a better business company) Musictronics Pro has all A+ ratings on these top consumer online rating sites. The problem with this site ( scam informer and rip off report is that anyone can post anything on any company withought actually having bought anything or done business with the company. So I would not really trust these reviews if I was a consumer. they are not as credible as you would think. Like I said before Bizrate acutally lets the paying customer review on checkout of the online store, and fallows up 2 weeks later to make sure the review is credible. Musictronics has incredible reviews there. I Think they are a great company and saved tons of money with them.

"Real" paying customers, eh? I paid like a "real" customer. So how does that work? And good for you that you received your order and had no problems. But, it's unfair that you are discounting my experience. I paid $5, 635 for products that I still haven't received after 2 months. It is what happened and I only wanted my product.

It's interesting how your wording, especially regarding Bizrate.com, and your disdain about negative (but unfortunately accurate) reporting on this or other sites, is remarkably like the monologue I got today from someone at Musictronics Pro; maybe it was Mike, Abel or Steve? One of those guys, maybe it was all three, told me exactly the same thing. The other problem with these sites, by the way, is that anyone can create a pseudonym and pretend to be, say, a satisfied customer. I put my real name on here. Just saying.

You're a very conscientious and informed customer and "wow!" you know so much about how Bizrate and trustlink.com works. Wphew, and here all I did to be a customer was pay them and beg for my product. It's comforting that you surf these questionable review sites on their behalf. You're quite the mascot. If you like, I can copy and paste my 40+ emails, onto this site, trying to obtain my products over the last 2 months with their diversionary responses.

I had the same issue as the previous customer. After paying over $6, 000 and receiving nothing but broken promises and having multiple people who sounded the same but with different names-STAY AWAY!! I never received the product ordered, then they never refunded my money. I had to get my credit card company to do a fraud claim to get my money back. DO NOT get fooled by their fake names and positive reviews!!
