National Home Gardening
National Home Gardening Club This company's #1 when it comes to mail fraud and continual harassment and deceptive business practices! Internet

The National Home Gardening Club sounded really interesting to me, so I joined in July, 2010. The cost was $12, with no mention of having to pay any more money. In their invitation to join, they promised that they'd send "free" gifts, such as pruners and other gardening tools. Along with the free gifts also came the allure of product testing, which meant that any gardening tool or device that I tested would be mine to keep...free of charge. Sadly, I never received any of the free things that they promised, except for one, ginormous headache! They cashed my check in August. In October I started getting e-mails from them, stating that I owed them money. In November I started receiving letters. Now it's March, and they're threatening to send me to collections. Their M.O. seems to be that they do a bait and switch. They promise free items to hook you, and then they start sending letters that threaten you. They've actually sent members to collections, all under the guise that they've done their part. If anyone has had this type of experience, please contact me. This company has to be stopped, because it's just not right!

They sent me a bill which I will not pay. I tried to opt out but couldn't now they send me bills with "SECOND NOTICE" on the envelope. This is illegal. They have a Better Business Bureau logo on their web site. These people need to be stopped.

I fell for this too!! I went to pay what WAS supposed to be a $12 membership fee, the link in the email took me to a supposed secure payment site where I was being charged $24 for a 2 year membership, I went ahead and input my AMEX card info, I didn't receive any confirmation of my payment, my membership, receipt...NOTHING!!! Within a 2 hour period of time I receive a call, a text and an email from AMEX regarding possible fraudulent charges. The $24 never charged to my account, but $620.57 from RadioShack in NY was charged. WTF??? THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!! BEWARE!!!
