New Beginning Enterprises Mr. Eugene Weldon, CEO Unfulfilled magazine subscriptions; fraud; Youngstown, Ohio

Salesman Brian Johnson (afro-American) came to my door on March 21, 2011 selling magazine subscriptions. I was trusting that the $90 I paid by personal check would be put towards the fulfilling of the contract. To date, no magazines have been received. Phone calls have been made to the company, as I spoke with Porsha Franklin regarding my order, but no action has been taken by the company to honor the agreement. After doing a bit of research on the internet, the street address of the business is a private home of Eugene and Marni Weldon. A BBB report shows they have an 'F' rating. These are all red flags that, had I known about them, I wouldn't have entered into a contract with the company. This company preys upon your good nature to help people out who're working for a good cause to keep themselves off the street, recover from addiction(s), etc.

i agree with you completely!!! I wrote them a check sept 8th 2011 and when my husband came home, he said to cancel it. I followed everything I was suppose to do on the back of their form. To this date, 11/156/11, I have NOT received my refund. As with you, when I call Porsha keeps giving me some bs reason why I havent gotten it or why it wasnt sent out. To find out any info on this company on the internet to call and get some additional action, you cant do it! This is a TOTAL SCAM and DONT buy into it!!! My salesman was Jerry McCory. Talked about God and his religion and how much of a christian man he was etc. When I went to the website to post a remark about them as they asked, his name wasnt even there!!! Porsha told me it was because he was brand new!
