Failure to Provide Refund -- Bankruptycy

I returned two pairs of pants to Newport News in February 2011 and despite numerous call I am out the approximately $60.00 they owe me. On May 25, 2011, I was told my return was "overlooked at the warehouse" and was ssured that tmy refund would be processed immediately. On today's call (June 23, 2011) first they beat around the bush about it then after I pressed them, I was told they are in bankruptcy and are nit issuing refunds tfor returns prior to June 2011. I Tried to speak with a spervisor , but they would not connect me to one. In short, I will NOT get my money back. If I had known anything about the bankruptcy I would never have ordered anything from these cheats. And, they continue to sell merchandise -- despicable!!! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and my Attorney General's Office!

This happened to me the exact way!!! I am out $144.75. Now, they are mailing me bills for the refund they owe me. I finally got to speak to someone today, August 12, 2011. They didn't know what the bill was for, could not explain it to me. They just informed to pay or I would be turned into a collection agency. I requested to speak with a supervisor, they said they were gone for the day???? Sounds very illegal to me!!! I have filed with the BBB and contacted the Hampton, VA Majors office. I really hope someone can guide me in the right diresction to handle this. They SHOULD NOT be able to still sell merchandise!!!
