| Do not use Next Rents in Colton. They are just scammers. I called about a house advertised on craigslist and they told me I would have to come down to the office and they would give me the keys to check it out. I drove over to the office and they told me that I could rent based on credit or based on income and if I chose to rent based on income, there would be a refundable fee of $ 180. It turns out the fee is for finding me a place which is not what the dishonest girl told me. I didnt know until I read the contract. I paid the fee and she gave me some listings and said that I could drive by and take a look and if I was interested in any of them then to call back and they would send someone over to show me the inside. Well, while I was looking at one, the owner of the property showed up and when I told her I was interested in renting it and told her the name of the company, she told me that she had never heard of them and that she didnt work with them. She suggested I request a refund because I had been scammed. I called Next Rents and asked for a refund and explained why I wanted one. They told me someone would call within 10 days to tell me when I could pick up the check. No one called. I have called back several times and I keep getting the run around. It has been over a month. I have since found others who were also scammed. I am trying to file a report with the better business bureau about them. Dont go near this place! |

| SAME HERE THEY BEEN GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND AND THEY KEEPT ON HANGING UP ON ME. THEY WERE REALLY RUDE, SPECIALLY THE MANAGER REBECCA. SHE WAS YELLING AND SAYING HOW SHE COULD JUST HANG UP ON ME AND NOT HELP ME OUT AND WHEN I WOULD CALL TO SPEAK WITH HER SHE EITHER COULDNT MAKE IT IN AT WORK OR SHE DIDNT WORK THAT DAY.. ITS A SCAM |

| they rip off the seller and the buyer its a good scam for them i call they put me on hold then hang up they sent me to houses that were not even available THIEVES how are the allowed to stay in business in the ratty shack they call a office i don't know i feel foolish to have been taken in so easily not sure what to do beside look for thier listings on craigslist and keep flagging them as scams what can i do short of going there and trying to choke some one for my money |

well dont i feel stupid for not looking them up first... they said since i paid cash i could get my cash back if i wanted my refund. i will take the police in with me if i have to. this is crap! i looked up their listings and so far 2 of 4 have been houses that arent for rent or sale, 1 was an apartment (not a house like i asked for)

A. get or money back and

| Every comment on this page is exactly what i've been thru 4 the last 2 weeks. except 4 when i called last week and asked 4 supervisors # they gave me the # thats on their business card as the fax #.Anyone name a time and lets get the cops to come with us. that broad was able to look me right in the eyes as i held my baby granddaughter sitting next 2 my 2 daughters knowing how limited my income was and still took my money!! this cannot be legal. did anyone get their money back? |

| omg that is what i am going through right now and i decided to get on google to see if anyone else has had problems with them omg this is crazy they told me that i would have to wait till the end of my 3months to get my money back and they told me that someone would call me back and no one has this is crazy I am going up there first thing tomorrow. omg what can we do |

| I am willing to do whatever it takes to get these scammers. I had been given a notice that my lease was up so I went through next rent and explained my situation and gave them the money, I would keep calling them and they would lie and say it wasn't ready yet due to remodeling and keep telling me to call the following week. I finally got fed up after a while so I asked for a refund and haven't heard anything since then and they changed there number. If any info let me know [email protected] |

| I have been going through the same situation. Bullshit runarounds and nothing but lies. I went up there last week again to fill out a 3rd "refund request form" and their office was closed. Also, their number is disconnected. Does anyone have a forwarding number or address? I would also like to follow up with legal action but cannot afford a lawyer. Any ideas or advice would be great, I'm just lost on the subject because I've never had to do anything like this before. [email protected] |

| Well unfortunately, I recently found out everything they've done to all of us is legal because of those words on the contract that I didn't read until it was too late because my kids and I were all packed up ready 2 move we were so excited we were going to pick up the keys to this townhome to move in the next day. but it does state that anything that any agent has told u is void. the BBB has investigated them several times over the past 2 yrs and there is nothing they can do other than tell people who ask about nextrent that they're no good. the only way they default the contract is after it expires mines up oct 5th and they decided to relocate and change #s. i have no idea if anyone got their $ back since the ones who started this blog doesn't post anymore. i can't afford to sue just like most of you but if we get enough of us 2gether 2 pitch in on 1 suit last time i checked it was $200.00. which wouldn't b worth it 4 1 person 2 pay 20 bucks more than they lost . so if anyone wants 2 do this lets talk my email [email protected] . id hate 2 imagine all of the good people they've burnt |

the same thing happened to me, i lost my job and followed by loosing my home, im a single mother and of course money was limited.. so i thought going through them was the best thing considering i had to pay application fees at all the rentals i looked at. just to check back ground. i hesitated after seing the guys there full of tattoes and they want my social security number, i thought.. im sure like alot of you people here you are honest and hard working people as myself, i never thought someone would do this. i should of went with my gut instinct. now they are closed and moved.. and we are out of the money.. if any of you people working for this company i hope you can sleep at night doing what you are doing KARMA!!! people
