NextGen, Inc
NextGen, Inc Sweepstakes, Deceptive Overland Park, Kansas
26th of Aug, 2011 by User891210
I received a seemingly genuine/official notice in the mail that stated that I was a finalist to win a two-million-dollar prize. I initially suspected that it was a notice from Publishers Clearing House (which I enter on a regular basis), and replied according to their instructions. I realized too little too late that nowhere on the official notice did it actually say the notice was from PCH itself. It did, however, mention a "NextGen, Inc" on the small "Official Rules" leaflet enclosed. I immediately knew I'd been ripped off and did a thorough search on this company. Do not fall for this, especially if you regularly play the lottery / enter other sweepstakes.

Yes, I thought something was up too, as soon as I saw that 11.89 was required to be sent too them.
Then I googled NexGen, and saw that other people realized the scam as well.
PCH doesn't require you send them money, when they give away millions.

Yes, I received this two million dollar notice in the mail, I to had thought it was from PCH. I believe that this was to look as much as possible as a PCH. Notice that there is no easy way to find whom the sender is? Even the return envelope doesn't state a name, just "Processing Center"? There website address "sweepsresults.com/million does not exist neither. Interesting scam...

I received this notice of winning a ton of money in the mail today, I called them and an answering service answers the calls, they connected me to "David" who was very vague about what company this was for and any other info. Of course you have to send money to be considered, doesn't sound like much, $11.89, but if 50, 000 suckers send this, they have had a pretty good day. Another scam I believe. NEVER SEND MONEY TO PEOPLE THAT ASK FOR IT UP FRONT, AND THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW.

I received this fabulous offer. All I had to do was send 12.99. I was pretty sure it was a scam. Thankfully I did my research like these folks.

Received an official looking letter today similar to PCH for 3 million dollar sweepstakes the return address is Award Notification Commission in Kansas City, KS. The little slip with the rules refers to Nextgen Inc. located in Shawnee Mission, KS. The $12.99 payment to enter the sweepstakes was the tip off that it was a scam. NEVER send any money to enter anything. Taking it to the post office tomorrow.

Has anyone notified the Better Business Bureau? It seems this company has been sending out Sweepstakes letters out for years now. I just received my letter last week, and like the other responders before me, I saw the request for $11.89 and knew it was a SCAM. How could this be going on for so many years?

They have updated to $12.99 and add $3.00 for "Rush Processing". This looked to me as a scam. U.S. Post office should be contacted. I think I will do that today. If this is through the mail and criminal intint should be a crime.
