We agreed to take a little bit of work from them, but after numerous attempts to contact their "accounting" department with no such luck, wondering about payment, we quickly decided that we would not perform another work order for them until we saw payment because it became apparent that we would most likely not receive payment for any of the work we performed.

There were a couple times they came back to us with questions on work orders that we had performed 2-3 weeks and sometimes a month after we performed the job, because they hadn't even submitted the results yet! We contacted their client to verify whether or not they had paid out on the jobs, which they assured us that they had paid NOW Properties in August 2010, and by that time it was November! I have now received a couple return emails about my request for payment, but both responses have been vague, at that, with excuse after excuse for why they haven't paid us, none of which are valid or anywhere reasonable.

Every time I have attempted to contact their "accounting" department, they have told me that the people in accounting have left for the day, and that the person who answered the phone doesn't handle the accounting side of the company and has no idea what's going on in accounting. Every time I would leave either a voicemail or message with whoever answered the phone, they would tell me that accounting is really busy and backed up, and that they would make sure the message was put on the top of the stack! HAHAHAHA What a JOKE!!!

I emailed the "rep" that originally contacted us, Julie Soulard, a couple weeks ago, and the email came back undeliverable, which tells me that she no longer works there. And now, no one will respond.

Today is December 28, 2010, and we have still not received one penny from NOW Properties. We have gone so far as to file complaints with their client, telling them that NOW has not paid their vendors, but OCWEN/ALTISOURCE, their client, has only responded that there is nothing they can do because they have already paid out, so it is up to us to attempt to collect. And from what I understand, NOW is still receiving work orders from ALTISOURCE...

I urge anyone who has been screwed by these guys, please also contact OCWEN/ALTISOURCE and let them know that NOW hasn't paid you for the work you completed on their behalf. The more complaints they hear about their Asset Mngmt company or what ever they call them, the better. Hopefully we will be able to run these guys out of business and keep them out of business.
