Ontel Products Salon Express Products scam! Beware! Don't purchase Salon Express Products or any other products from Ontel! Internet
12th of Dec, 2011 by User303570
I went online to get some stocking stuffers for my daughters - the Salon Express - $10 a kit. Saw it on TV. Thought - this would be fun for them. Went online and ordered 2 - which with tax would be $27.96 - instead the confirmation order stated $47.96. I ended the sale - never clicked on the CONFIRM button. Went back and did it again - thinking I processed it incorrectly - again, came up to $47.96, instead of $27.96. I clicked on the link for customer service, it provided a phone number
Customer Service:
Check Order Status: www.ontelproductsorderstatus.com
Phone: 1-877-833-2220
Email: [email protected]
The customer service number is available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, Eastern Time
When calling that number, it states to go online at ontelproductsorderstatus.com - then hangs up on you. That's it - that's all that 877 number does. So I emailed them, letting them know their internet-based order form is not working correctly. No reply. Then I received TWO confirmation emails! They are processing both orders, even though I never completed the online order (never hit the confirmation button). So I emailed them again - no reply. So, next step, went on ontelproductsorderstatus.com it states: Customer Service
*** Salon Express Customer Service Number***
1-973-439-9035
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm EST *** Salon Express Customer Service Email Address***
[email protected] **Please allow 24 hours after ordering for order information to be available** Guess what - called the 973 number, and it is busy - has been for hours now this morning! Now I am finding a charge of $54.96 on my recent transactions of my online bank statement. Don't order anything from them, this is the most unprofessional company I have ever seen, and honestly I don't know how they get away with it. And what a joke - it also states this on their website: Refused/Undeliverable Packages Any package that is refused or undeliverable will be assessed a $3.00 non-refundable processing fee per package. I bet they get that a lot!

I ordered salon express and they kept trying to get me to accept this deal and that deal. I clearly declined ALL offers. My bank account was debit $46.99 for the order. Then a overseas travel agency debit it $400.00 more and a motel offer I declined another $5.00. Salon express is a scam! They give your debit card number to multiple scams. Here it is a few days before Christmas and they have drained my account. I will be at the bank bright and early in the morning hopefully I can get some of my money back. May those bastards rot in hell for stealing from my children!

yep...Salon Express rip off...same thing happened to us..my wife want to order some nail kits, started an order and it totaled 133.88. My wife then closed the browser, did not hit place order button...Tried again and it totaled 122.87 ...way too much again...She did not hit the place order button again...she closed the browser . Later that night her and I did a third order for only 39.97 and we did in fact hit the process order button...the next day we found all three orderes processed, I was pissed, we only recieved a order confirmation for the 39.97 order but they still went ahead and processed the other two orders..I called the numbuer that they give online..and explained the situation. they were able to cancel the 133.88 order on the spot, but the 122.87 order was processed and shipped along with the 39.97 order too!...I was told that because my wife closed the browsers..it enabled the order system that it was a process order comand. I was told that when I recieve the 122.88 order to call back and I will be given instrustion to return the orderfor a full refund to include my shipping costs...I will wait and see! I had my wife call the bank and cancel her card and get a new one, to prevent further charges from happening...

Went to this supposed www.ontelproductsorderstatus.com and it says that the website doesn't even exist. I just ordered the nail kit last night for myself for x mas and I'm going to be pissed if I call my credit card to day and they tell me that I have been billed a million times like these other unfortunate people. I guess I will have to cancel my card too if this happens. Why do people advertise things and have it be a scam. How is that even legal to do that on the tv?

Ok finally found the web site now last night when I was on the phone it said that it was $6.97 for shipping but I have a charge of $13.98 for shipping. What a bunch of assholes! This is ridiculous. How can they say one thing and charge you something completely different! I'm canceling the order!

I placed an online order for ladies Miracle Slippers on 06/10/2012. My order was based on a TV advertisement which offered 1 set of slippers and 1 set free for $ 19.99 plus shipping ($7.00). After placing the online order the process offered additional sets for gifts or for whatever reason, Each addtional set was offered for $19.99 with no shipping cost because the set would be included in the original shipment. So, I ordered 1 set of mens slippers for my husband. Total Cost (my calculation): $46.98. After the online process was complete I expcted a display summary of my order with an opportunity to proceed or cancel. This did not happen. Not even a confirmation number was offered. Therefore, I immediately sent an email to [email protected] requesting an order statement of my online transaction. No reply and I should have been on alert. The shipment arrived on 06/20/2012 and the invoice had a charge of $96.94 (surprise!). I called, and I don't remember now how many different numbers I dialed before I got a live person but the person I talked to said I ardered 3 additionl men's slippers. I, of course, said I ordered 1 set but lost the argument. She said to return the 2 extra pairs for a refund but the return shipment would be my expense. So, $12.31 shipping cost which made the super TV offer turned out to be too super. SCAM! Why? Because they did not expect me to return the slippers, but expected the return proicess to be ignored. How many people ordered slippers and got more than ordered but did not go through the trouble of returning mthe goods???

Great... just saw this Miracle Slippers commercial. As usual, I go ONLINE to look for REAL REVIEWS (not manufactuer's ad/blogs!) to get the skinny on a product. Needless to say, thanks to the internet and scaminformer, I have been saved from falling prey to yet another CREDIT CARD SCAMMING COMPANY. I wish they would all ROT IN HELL.

Contact your bank and see if they can reverse the charges; then refuse delivery and let them sue your for the three dollars. Bet you will never hear from them again.
