I have bought GAP insurance with OwnerGUARD, and payed car off 1.5 years later. By rule-78 I'm owed $319 as refund, they sent me a check for $68 and refuse to pay the rest. I'm going to file a small claims court case against them.

To add to the multiple complaints on OwnerGuard:
This has to be the worst company ever. They will not refund my cancelled GAP insurance funds, and keep adding to their requests of information they want me to fax to them. I have been hung up on twice and lied to by their representatives.
If anyone has any information on an existing class action suit, or how to start one, I'd be very interested.

OwnerGUARD IS THE WORSE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. A COMPLETE RIP OFF. THEY WON'T PAY THE COMPLETE CLAIM ON THE CAR AND SAID THEY SENT A CANCELLATION CHECK FOR $68 OUT OF $600 TO MY OLD ADDRESS AND WON'T REISSUE EVEN THOUGH THEY SENT A LETTER TO MY CURRENT ADDRESS 2 MONTHS EARLIER. WHAT A JOKE AND THEY LIE.
