Everything that all these others have said are true. I know because it happened to me. The bad thing about it is that this company was able to get my first payment. It wasn't only when I was trying to remove the hold on my account so that I wouldn't default on my monthly payment with them, which I had set-up, did I find out that this company is doing some shady crap!

When someone like me, who's a single mom raising two kids ready to go to college, gets a phone call at work that if I didn't call them back they would come to my place of employment, which was the number they had called and left a message on my General Manager's voicemail, that I would be served by the sherrif. When I spoke to a Mr. Martin, he said that I owed a credit card company and that they were in the process of trying to serve me. When I asked him why did I never get any letter stating this, he gave me an address where I once lived at, and told him that this was an old address. He said that could've been the reason I never got anything. He continues with his story that the amount I owe is so many thousand dollars and that he could go ahead and offer me the same amount as the original charge off amount or something to that effect, that's after he speaks with "the Director". I don't bring my problems to work and for them to have called my place of employment was absolutely embarrasing! I knew that they had spoked to a co-worker because it was she who gave me the message. I didn't know until a few days after I had set-up monthly payments with Mr. Martin that they had also called my General Manager and left a voicemail, which he called me at home for and let me listen to. Hedidn't say anything else, but he said I should hear it because it seemed important. How absolutely embarassing.

With this, my first payment was due last month on the 24th and they had a problem trying to get the payment because the number was mixed up. I gave him the correct number. Well, on my second payment, lucky for me, my fund transfer had a hold which would be release on the 28th. I was trying to get my bank to release the hold so I wouldn't default. They wouldn't. I tried calling Mr. Martin and to my surprise, the number no longer works. So, I googled the company, even more of a surprise! I called my bank and had my account closed and my cards closed. I wonder if Mr. Martin will have the balls to give me a call next week to say he couldn't get the payment...

I'm so upset with them and at myself. This was a first for me. For them to go to the lengths of calling my workplace and leaving messages like that. I feel so violated. I hope these scums get prosecuted to the fullest extent.
