My wife and I are senior citizens who were celibrating our 41st anniversary in Cacon,Mexico.We were stopped in the airport and directed to a booth where man offered a free night and dinner to listen to the Palace Premier offer of a membership.When we arrived for presentation,they told us to relax and that whatever we are interested in or not that we would be able to change our minds. We were talked into paying $10,000 for a membership that would supposedly save us much more in discounts for hotels and travel.We returned next day after reading fine print and said we wanted to cancelThey asked us to think it over one more night a took off $2,700 I said I did not think the charge company would approve this large amount.. Each time they said they would contact the charge company for us and take care of the transaction.Is this legal? We returned the next day (Sunday)but could not find help and had to catch our flight home. Upon return,we received charge card bill for $7,800,When we wrote to charge card company with our dispute,we were told that Palace Premier mailed our signitures and said sale was final. They tricked us.We are on a fixed income and can't afford this so called membership that we never wanted.How can this Mexican entity offer to allow us to get out of this deal and then rescind their offer? The Card Company is trying to help us but I grow more depressed every day.
