Unwanted Subscription

I've never been to the Parents.com website before and today I received an email thanking me for my subscription. I then received another email with my name and address on it and an order for a free magazine.

I received the same email yesterday. This is the second time this has happened to me within a year. The first time, I contacted Meredith Corp. because I was concerned about a security breach or identity theft. I got no response. Magazines came in the mail, which I just threw away. I never received a bill (or at least never saw one). Now that I got the email again I did some searching online and found that this seems to be a regular practice with this company. Pestering phone calls also. I'M NOT HAPPY.

I also received same email. Called and complained and to find out if I had been charged for this. The mailing address on the subscription was in MA, I live in IL, and it was a different first name. The women on the phone could have not cared less. Today, my bank called to say our account info had been compromised and they closed the account and are issuing a new account number and credit cards. Don't know if the two are related, but they happened one day apart.

i just got same email.they gave me id and password. name under deanne., and i aint't deanne.
where should i call and check for identity theft???

I did a survey on the internet so i can recieve a walmarts gift card apparently i got ask a series of questions and i answered, but my answer for parents magazine was never a order i never made an order nd now imgoing to recieve a subscription, i want to cancel, i dont want it.
