My kid was just ripped off from them. My 16 yr old kid was on my proxibid site and spent all her money thinking she was getting great deals. The appraisals for the items were ridiculously high. Most of this junk jewelry is set in sterling silver or gold plating. Who makes jewelry worth over $20,000 and uses sterling silver plated with gold? It is an obvious scam. They know the appraiser they use is a phony appraiser and his appraisals aren't worth the paper he prints it on. You can't tell me any appraiser any where could be off up to 100 times or more the value of an item. If so why would you consistently use them unless your a thief. Not only that they constantly refer to these fake appraisals through out the auction to drive up the price. They know exactly what they are doing. Keep the complaints coming. I am looking into filing a class action law suit against Pioneer Auction Gallery, GLA, and the internet companies that knowingly let them operate their scams. They also represent themselves as an antique auction house. The majority of what they sell is Chinese reproduction junk and try to pass it off as antique.
