Play65.com Rigged Game! Scam! Dice roll is not random. Opposition always wins in the end. Internet
11th of Apr, 2011 by User900038
Play 65 on-line Backgammon is a rigged game. The Free "Premium" play advertised is impossible to access. Once you plunk down money you will lose it fast. The number of doubles the opposition rolls is highly improbable. Curious how the opposition always gets the rolls it needs to just win...or annihilate you. They don't even bother to make it seem believable. Find another game site, this one is for people who want to be played!

I've been playing on Play65 for months and have noticed such consitency in the patterns of the dice that I can actually predict what rolls are going to come up. There are days when I just can't win, but they are few and very far between and even winning for an entire day defies the law of averages. I don't play for money and never would, not on this website. Would love to know how many other people are experiencing the same.

Sorry, this is to correct my earlier post. I meant to say "there are days when I just can't LOSE"...also, it's "consistency"...

oh damm and there I thought I was psychic cos I was predicting so many rolls :0

I agree its such a scam and I dont even play real money. Can u imagine the thousands of dollars people have lost playing real money. What are the odds of rolling a 7???? Not very high according to play65 dice.
Its a shame cos it has great graphics and user friendly.
and how many double 6's do u roll when ur on the bar?
what a joke of a site.

I started playing at Backgammon Masters and Play65 about 8 years ago and play almost every day for hours. And yes I do have a life, I was able to retire early. I had already been playing on a board for px. 40 years. What I immediately noticed while watching the higher scoring players was that one player in particular would get perfect rolls. They didn't move any different than I would have and they would get more doubles than their opponent while he/she got several ones. It was a predetermined game. And as is stated above I am able to predict rolls. I have complained to each site several times but they just send their standard letter that they have a random dice certificate from a Japanese firm.

When I am the opponent that is getting the lousy rolls and my opponent is getting the perfect rolls I have had some success by trying to trick the computer. I move non-traditionally and this sometimes works. It seems to have gotten worse lately. A player used to be able to move a pip by itself and not get hit, but I've noticed in the last 6 months that 95% of the time it is a guarantee hit.

There is also a consistency for the rolls to be perfect when bringing in the pips. Whichever spot has the most amount of pips is usually the number you will get. The program always brings them off the board so that there's never a chance you will be hit if your opponent left one or two of his pips on your side.

One last complaint before I bore everyone to death: Last week I was playing a beginner and she and I were running home. I was ahead by over 50 points. This is exactly what she got and in this exact order: Double 4's, double 5's, double 5's, double 6's and double 6's Guess who won?

Hello Backgammon players! Re fairness: There are no doubt cheats available, but
on to a far more important issue. There are NO random dice being used in
internet backgammon. One does not need to have a doctorate in statistics
(although I do) to realise, after about 50 games, that the dice are not random.
The dice are program generated based on what the board situation is at that
time. This is really unacceptable for real backgammers!!! When a game is
pre-determined regarding the winner and then implemented pursuant to the program
determined dice rolls, you are NOT playing backgammon, but rather a game
invented by the programers.

My appeal: Please create random generated dice whereby every role possible of
the 36 possible combinations has an equal chance of
occuring!!! The sofware exists!!!

I have quit playing, as have my colleagues, until this is indeed the case.

Oh, and NEVER play for money unless you are certain of fair, random dice.

I've played backgammon for many years and I am very good. I played real money on play65 for several months and won 10 times my money. Then I started to lose to every single person I played. I could predict what the next role would be based on where my open man was located. My opponents would very frequently make roles that they only had a 5.5% chance of making. Even if i was winning by a large margin my opponent would role several sets of doubles at the end of the game to win. I decided to close my account because i was tired of being cheated, but they not will pay me my winnings.

Sadley this is TRUE Play 65 Dice roll is blatent in its Coruption, Truely love the Game of backgammon, Playd it all over the Middle Eastern states with oponents did not even speak a word of english at times and enjoyd the evening of play emensly . Im a better than average player and would dearly love to find an on line site that is NOT Corupt to the point of not being any Fun to play, keep looking for someone that might know of a site that is Honest and chalanging ..But it apears the On Line is just too easly manipulatable to resist the programer to make it random ..Why there desire to Cheat overcomes there desire to make it fair is bafeling to me as well as others that enjoy the play ...I will post this and Hope others can agree and one day make a deferance in the way it is set up ..There is no better chalange than a live person at the tabel across from you enjoying the game ...Frank Blackstone ...out

I like the online backgammon because it's much faster and you can't move a piece to a spot that you shouldn't, but one of the reasons I hate the online backgammon is not only for the above mentioned complaints but because I'm tired of being accused of cheating when the computer is "giving me the game", which is always the case because there's always a predetermined player (you may as well toss a coin).
I have found other sites to play at and win almost every game at the beginning (this is to trick the person into thinking they are a special player in the hopes that you'll play for money). I don't know if it's just impossible for a computer programmer to make it truly random or there's another motive, but I sure would love to find a site that is actually RANDOM. I'm even pay a monthly fee to play just for the fun of it...A frustrated player here...

PlayGemBackgammon on facebook is an extension of Play 65. The same lousy programming and the same reactionary rolls. It always gives one person the exact number needed to get off the bar and it's usually doubles. Or the person bringing home their pips (if they are the predetermined winner) gets several doubles in a row while the other gets several ones. Facebook doesn't care if they're cheaters because they're making money on them.
