Points Across America Paid nearly $200 for magazines from a door to door saleman. Never received Magazines!!!! Internet

Back in 2006, I was fresh out of High School and living in an apt with some friends. A guy going door to door was selling magazines and knocked on our door. We answered and he then explained what he was doing and that he was in the running for a trip to Mexico and he just needed to sell as many magazines as he could. I wanted some magazines and never received any... now this company Points Across America is a debt that is against me on my credit. After I had told the collection agency that I had never received these magazines he then told me that he had proof in their file that they had been sent out. I then asked him what address they had been sent to and he said my parents address. I then said ok, that is weird because I didn't even live home and the time and there is no way that I would give them my parents address if I was not living there. Also, I had done some research on the internet. Many, many complaints made about this company and there is no location, contact info, or website for Points Across America. I have every right not to pay them the $196 for I did NOT receive my magazines.
