How to get a refund: it can be done

I too fell for the "too good to be true" offer. However after a few hours, realising that it was a time share promotion, I suddenly came to my senses and called my legal insurer for advice. In the terms and conditions it is clearly stated that you can cancel within 30 days of purchase. After consultation with the legal department I wrote a letter stating my cancellation and sent it by registered mail. Then I also sent a pdf of the letter by email to the customer service. I received an email back giving me a number to call to finalise the "paper work" for the refund. I called the next day and repeated my cancellation. I was informed that I would receive a confirmation email within 72 hours. I did not receive that mail until 4 days, and to reminder emails from me, later. However I DID receive a FULL REFUND which was indeed issued only one day after my telephone cancellation. Today I also received the confirmation of cancellation and issue of repayment.
So all's well that end's well. Just make sure you cancel within 30 days of purchase and do it by email, phone AND registered mail. And keep reminding them not to forget you.
