PriceShuffle.com
Priceshuffle.com is a scam Thousand Oaks, California

I saw Priceshuffle.com being advertised on a news website. It was advertising the opportunity to get 100 bids on Priceshuffle.com for free. When I clicked on the link, it directed me to their website. The website asked for my personal and credit card information to register.
I registered with Priceshuffle.com, and no where during the registration process did it state that my card would be charged or list an amount. Once I entered all my information and was directed to the bidding page, I noticed that I had 400 bids.
Knowing that I had only signed up for the 100 free bids, I went to the my account link on the website. I then saw that my card had been charged $149.95. I called priceshuffle.com and the employee that answered the phone told me that all complaints had to be done via email. I proceeded to email Priceshuffle.com and waited about 2 days for a response. The response that I got basically told me that their charging policy is stated on the website and that I had purchased the bids and there would be no refund. I begged for a refund, because I had no idea that my card would be charged and I didn't have the money to purchase that many bids. I asked if I could at least get a partial refund and get the bids lowered so that the transaction wouldn't put me in overdraft. I was basically told that the policy is clearly written on their website and basically had to deal with it. So, to try and make the best of it I went to the website and tried to bid on a couple of items. First, it is impossible to win anything unless you are willing to be glued to your computer for several days. The time limits do not actually expire because when an item gets down to two minutes left, each bid placed after that adds ten seconds to the clock. They also advertise a wide selection of items to bid on, but I noticed that the same things were being offered time and again. I was really upset because the advertisement offered to try Priceshuffle.com and offered 100 free bids, no where during the registration process did it ever state that my card would be charged, or even that I was purchasing a bid package. This company is dishonest and misleading.
