I signed up for a gym membership at this gym believing that it would be month-to-month and when I went to cancel because I was moving I was told I had signed up for a 9 month contract and I must continue to pay.This was the first time I had even heard of this 9 month contract and I never would have signed up for anything other than month-to-month, ever!

The contract was deceptive, the employee was a fast-talking/used car salesman type of guy that didn'tthink it was important to mentionyou're locked infor 9 months.They obviously can'tkeep business the honest way and feel they must con people into signing up for things they don't agree to or want in the first place.

I have beenback to the gym countless times todiscuss the issue despite now living over 25 miles from the place; they could care less. The owner is an absolutejerk.I went to talk to him about the contract and heturned his back on me, walked away, and told methe conversation was over. I have filed a formal complaintwith theState Attorney General and the BBB.There are negative reviewsall over online about this gym'shorrible billing/financial practices so I amobviously not the only one this hashappened to.Beware.
