On 09/15/2010, I found Premier Transmission Company on the Web Site. I called the Woodinville phone number listed on Premier Transmission Web Page and left a message. Bob from Premier Transmission called back. Bob explained to me about the free services listed in their web page with no obligation and gave me an estimate on the phone. My car was towed on the 09/16/2010 morning from another Auto repair shop. I received an email with an estimate for $1,500 as I was told on the phone. The next day afternoon, I called Bob asking for the shop address at Woodinville so I can go over there after work and also I requested all the old parts to be returned to me. Bob told me the car was towed to one of their shop in Seattle instead (they dont have a shop in Seattle) because a mechanic who is a specialist in Mercedes Benz located in the Seattle shop. The following Monday, before getting off work, I called the phone number listed under Seattle in the Premier Transmission Web Page. The phone was routed to the same number and the same person named Doug answered the phone. When I asked for their Seattle shop address, he hesitated and refused to tell me. Then he put me on hold and never got back to me. I called again and asked for Bob; Doug put me on hold again and did not get back to me. I called again, Doug told me to leave a message and someone will call me back. But I did not receive any phone call from Premier Transmission at all. I was concerned where my car was towed to. A day later, I found out from the Better Business Bureau that they only have one location in WA State located in Kent and one other location in Portland OR. Then I realized I was scammed. On Sep 22nd, they sent me a second estimate for the $2,600 by email. I called and asked for the return of my car. They told me the transmission of my car has been removed for repair. I will have to pay for the labor and the towing plus other fees if I dont have the repair done. I insisted that I rather paid the fee to get my car back. Then they told me the transmission was shipped to Portland OR for repair. In other words, I cannot take my car. They promised the car will be ready in a couple of days. I was never told my car was towed to Kent, WA and my transmission was taken out and shipped to OR. A few days later, the car still was not ready. On Sep 25 Saturday, I went to the shop in Kent and looked for my car. I talked to a person name Jessie who works for Premier Transmission and he told me the car will be ready the following Monday. On Monday, the car was not ready. I kept calling each day, but they kept telling me it will be ready the next day. It dragged on for another week. I was very concerned. On Monday, Sep 27th, I called and demanded to have my car back. One of the shop managers named Duey, called me back and told me the car will be ready no later than Saturday for sure and he is going to take $100 off the bill. After talking to a friend, I felt very uncomfortable. On Tuesday Sep 28th, I took a day off from work and went to their shop planning to take my car back. I sent them an email ahead of time demanding for my car back. I report to the Kent Police, and an officer was present as a witness. Before we arrived, they parked a car in front to block my car from being towed. They demanded full payment of $2,500 before I was allowed to take my car back with or without the transmission (the transmission was not in the car). The officer told me he cannot make them to release my car but he can be a witness to the situation. So I have no choice but to wait. They first quoted me $1500 and later asking for $1100 more. Both estimates were sent by email. My car was holding hostage unless I pay whatever they asked for. They first promised 3 to 5 days for the repair. My car ended up in their shop for 3 weeks. During those 3 weeks, I called everyday. They kept telling me they will call me once the car is ready. They kept promising me a date and kept postponing the date. I have no idea if my car really needed that much of a repair. Finally, I picked up my car on Oct 4, 2010 with a Kent Police officer present as a witness. I had asked for my old parts back ahead of time but was never returned on the day I picked up my car. I took my car for a full inspection at the other shop on Oct 27. The report shows the transmission was not fixed. The transmission has leaks and the fluid level was too high. (See Attachment). They scam me by putting more fluid in the transmission to void the fluid to be dry out too quickly, so they can cover up the problem longer. Each time I called and I was put on hold or asked to leave a message. They did not get back to me.

Premier Transmission quoted us 1173 or so, plus additiona 385 or so of hard parts. But then, final price was over 2200 at Premier Transmission. After having our auto looked at by another mechanic, we found Premier Tranmission had charged us for parts that were not replaced, not only that, but completely ruined the trannie that was put in. Buyer beware! If the price seems to good to be true…it probably is. dont take our word for it, check the BBB for Premier Tranmission in Kent or Oregon, and see for yourself what their rating is. We as consumers, should always check online and the BBB before using services. If you too have been scammed by Premier Tranmission, vent here!!

Premier Transmission closed down because of too many complaints and registered as Pro Tran Services and Precision Transmission. They are the the same people. Remember these two names Dave Boyd, Bob Boyd. WATCH OUT!

I should have checked out Premier Transmission before I let them take my car. I was charged double of what they quoted me at first. My car was at the shop for over 3 weeks and it broke down a few days after I picked it up. They did not return calls. I wonder if the mechanic are licensed at all. They don’t speak English at all. They lied about their shops. They only have 2 locations, Portland, OR and Kent, WA. The shops are dirty and messy. Junks are all over the place.

Stay away from Premier Transmission or Pro Transmission in Kent WA

Premier Transmission company hired a bunch of illegal immigrants with no mechanical license or experience. Premier Transmission first quote you a low price then charge “hard parts” when you pick up your car. Premier Transmission also steal parts from customers auto and replace them with old parts. Customers do not know until their cars break down. My car broke down 2 weeks after repaired by Premier Transmission. The warranty does not mean anything. I took the car back and wait for another 3 weeks and broke down again. I am not going back. STAY AWAY!

Yeah, did not see this postings before decided to call them.and chose this shop. Same happened to me.Got call from Bob (Sunday)?.Got quote $1075, They picked the vehicle day after.Got call after 5 days..need addition work and money???.the valves and tork(mmmm) maybe bad. After 12 days I called and the vehicle was fixed (hoping for long time) Warranty is funny part...on quote and paper is 5yr warranty (pretty good). But on final is 5 yr parts and one yr labor.Addition warranty cost $149/yr.Declined labor warranty ($600) addition. NOT recommending this shop. During my time there was 6 vehicles lifted up for service and 20 outside..I am just interesting how menu is returning customers

Those are criminals, my car broke again...(they said this time is plate between motor and transmission) and not covered by warranty..this warranty is joke. They "fixed/replaced" my transmission 3 month ago.So they was working on tork and transmission...not on plate ???. ..may they lose intentionally plate? I taking car to another place TO INVESTIGATE. transmission and repair. "Premier" Thans was asking 1200 for this job. First time they collected from me 2000 and now they asking for 1200 for the same job again.Sucks. I do not trust them they going rob you. DO NOT GO THERE. Thanks, and good luck with ones people.

Premier Transmission is now called Precision Transmission or Pro Tran located in the same locations in OR and Kent, WA. They are owned by the same crooks. Pro Tran is not a BBB member. But these crooks insert the BBB logo in their web site to deceive the customer. STAY AWAY!

Pro Transmission Kent, WA

do not take your auto here, you will be sooooooooooooooooo sorry. They will offer you a low price with a so called "cap" the price will exceed the cap, then they will hold it unless you pay in full. they also told us the towing was free, nope...they charged us for it. Our auto has been there for several monthes, broke down twice when we picked it up, nobody returns our calls, none of the mechanics speak engilsh. they are incompetent, and the most unethicial business i have ever encountered. RUN dont walk...to the next place. our issue has still not been resolved.

Pro Trans lately post their own comments online to deceive others. They once use the BBB logo as a accredited BBB member on their web page, but were told to take it down becasue they are not BBB accredited member. They do all kinds of things to deceive the consumer.
