Products for life
Products for life asked for $19.95 in shiping and handling and in return I'd get a card shaped like a passport. Portland, Oregon
11th of Jul, 2011 by User189294
The man who's name I can't remember but sounded like Danny Bonoduci told me it cost $19.95 after asking me several personal questions. He asked how much we spend on grocery a month, how many people are being fed here, if anyone is under 18, if anyone in the household gets SSI, SSR, food stamps or any other type of goverment help. When I mentioned my zip code and that I was on disability, he told me I could get right in, that not everyone in MO would get in but that I would, just because of that fact. Then he went on to explain the program, that you take this card to a regional or national store and I could only purchase name brands. I would have to pay a percentage of the purchase. As low as 10% on low end groceries and as much as 17% to 20% on seafood and steaks, expensive products. I asked if I had to do any paperwork for this survey after coming home. He stated no, that they are just following my name brand purchases on the grocery store tab. I then asked if I could look them up online to see if they were ligitimate and he said "of course" and as long as I stay on line with you, you'll still be able to purchase but that while we were on the phone they had gone from 20 spots in this area code down to 4. I could call back but he couldn't gaurantee there would be any more spots While he waited on the phone, I typed in the name in several different ways but always starting with "Products for life". I told him all the sites under that name mentioned nothing about grocery shopping, they were all herbal suppliments or car cleaning products. He told me that was weird, was I typing in "Products for life" because they were there. I asked him if he could look it up while I was on line and he swore he couldn't, but it was there. After trying several different ways, adding information he gave, I still couldn't find it and suddenly after I said that's weird, he hung up on me, so then I began to look up ripoff and scams and found this to be similar but not the same phone number. Thank goodness I didn't give them money or my credit card information.
