Progressive Auto Insurance Ripoff Auto Insurance Rates by Progressive Mayfield Village, Ohio

On the Dec 4th 2010, I bought a brand new Hyundai Accent two doors 2010 version car. I called up the AmeriChoice who is the authorized agent/broker for Progressive which recommended by the car dealer. I was in need of a brand new auto insurance but no much experience because it is my first time ever purchase a car in my life. The agent quoted me $190 per month with $304.75 first payment for six months period with Progressive Auto Insurance. They told me that is the lowest rate they can quote for me. I believe them and purchased it. About two days later, I found another Auto Insurance company quoted me double less than the Progressive offered. Of course, I called up AmeriChoice but they told me I should call the Progressive directly. Then, I called them up to cancel my insurance immediately. Unfortunately, they told me that I need to pay the two days I've been insured for, on top of the rest of non-active period of my six months policy which is about $134.00. That sounds ridiculous and ripoff to me. When I signed the Progressive auto insurance application docs at the dealer which faxed over by the agent AmeriChoice, they never explained in detail and clearly about the cancellation terms and the policy as well which is very unfair to me. When I called the Progressive back couple times, one of the supervisor on duty (Dec 11, 2010 - 10:30am ish) wasn't responded my concerns professionally, instead, quickly ended the conversation and say goodbye to get rid of me. I emailed them more than five times, but no proper and satisfactory response given. Their customer service representatives' attitudes are low quality honestly. I am only a college student who know less about buying cars and auto insurance. I feel like I am being cheated by both the agent AmeriChoice Ins (702-870-4822) and the Progressive Auto Insurance. I hope the Nevada Division of Insurance can give me a justice on this issue. Also, all the public media out there, please help me to publish my concerns to all the people so no more people will be cheated by those companies like I did. Thank you very much! Sincerely,
