I needed a new lamp for my DLP tv. I found this company online and decided to give them. A try the lamp came in right on time. I installed the new lamp and turned on my tv and there was an instant burning smell. I turned off the tv and tried to remove the lamp but could not. I found that the connector for the lamp had got so hot that the lamp connectory melted to the ballist connector. After removing the lamp and ballist together there was no way to seperatet the two. Upon inspection of the lamp that they sent me and the the factory spec lamp that I was replacing, I found that they had wired the lamp backwards which is what caused the extreme heat. I called projectorquest.com to report this to them and they said they would replace the lamp but not the damaged ballist. The refused to cover the cost of the ballist which was damaged by a defect in their product. Now I have to cover the $80.00 + shipping for a new ballist which was damaged by their product. They do not feel any responsiblity for damages created by a faulty product of theirs. I'm glad the service company I work does not feel this way and takes responsiblity for their products and service. Marc
