I signed up with Public Power Utilities LLC in 2010 when they offered me a rate of 0.0949 per kwh fixed for one year. The rep told me this way I don`t have to pay the high utility rates for 12 month. the winter came and my friends where only paying 0.0917 for their energy, so I called them to let them know that I want to cancel. The company at that time informed me about a $150.00 termination fee that I would have to pay first over the phone, I told them that I was retired and can`t pay that much at once. This battle went on for over 2 month and still they wanted my to pay that amount. I talked to the PUC and they got my account canceled quick but Public power sent me a bill for the $150.00 and now I have collection agentcies calling me every day. Come to find out the offer from them was only good for 3 month then they hit you hard with a rate of 0.0999 what a scam. Since then I have recieved calls from other companies offering me stuff because I am a valued customer of Public Power. Caution, Caution

Scaminformer.com is a terrible company.This company does not allow stuff to be erased unless you pay their lawyer that they have advertised with them. SCAM INFORMER SHOULD BE ERASED FROM THE INTERNET. This Scam Informer website is a fraud!!!

It is so easy for ex and fired employees to slander here. It does not investigate the claims they have on this website!

Public Power LIES to consumers about how their charges related to the standard PSE&G charges. They compare them to the distribution / delivery charge which makes Public Power look great, but the Public Power numbers need to be compared to the actual PSE&G Gas and Electric use charges, not the distribution / delivery charges. I cancelled the account, they called me back and scammed me AGAIN with another set of lies. When I submitted a complaint to them they essentially told me go "too bad". They are truly scam artists and their rates are HIGH!!!
