List of all the things that I was scammed about
- Price was increased by about 70% more than what was quoted
- Few of my items were stolen
- All the boxes were opened and looked into
- I still haven't accessed the damages, from the looks of it I am pretty sure that none of my electronics will work.
- I informed them not to deliver until I told them to as I was still looking for apartments, but they called a day before to inform that they were arriving. They made me keep all my items in a public storage at my own cost. I now have to incur additional cost for moving from the storage to my apartment
- At the time of delivery I was asked for additional money for keeping my items in the storage and they needed a storage where they could park their truck right next to it.
- The person at delivery was extremely rude
- They asked me $700 for re-delivery and $250 for keeping my items in storage
- The whole process caused me lot of inconvenience and stress
- At delivery I was asked to pay by cash only so that they could mask what was actually paid out
- In total it cost me about 70% more than what was quoted and my items are still in storage
