July 2010 I was released from the hospital after brain surgery. this surgery left me with the inability to make responsible choices when in a high pressure sales setting such as door to door or telemarketing.I was advised that it would be at least a year till my brain healed to near normal condition.


In october 2010 i was asked to allow a demonstration of a cleaning machine ( Rainbow) and being a nice person i said ok .several times during the demonstration i asked what the bottom line was dollar wise. and was stopped each time and told let me finish the Demo. I was manipulated into purchasing this cleaning system ( and not even a new in box unit)with only basic attachments for $2500.00.


having no job and high medical bills and other expenses i asked my friend to contact them about returning the machine as i can not afford $82. a month for 2 years or more . when the office was called in the camp hill area we were told they have none of the paper work and i would have to call the finance company.since after their 3 day return time they send all paperwork to the finance agency and they have no idea who the company is.


When asked what the finance co. can do for me they said " they will tell you that you MUST complete your contract as written" I requested my sales rep be sent out to pick up the machine and that I will not pay any further payments since it will place me in a homeless setting .They advised me this is my problem and between me and the finance company and that they will not make an exception to prevent potentially losing my place to live. and was told "Take it up with the finance co. when asked which one again i was told they do not know and that i should have that info .


it is clear to my mental health advocate that there will be no cooperation in resolving this issue and a former employee explained to me that this is indeed their standard method of operation making it almost impossible after the 3 day return time ,to return the unit and get clear of the MASSIVE outstanding bill.


I have advised their office that I will not make any further payments on this debt. and that they are to come and pick up their equiptment which is clean and packaged in plastic since the box was taken by the sales rep.it will sit there till this is resolved.I will be calling the finance company this week but was told not to waste my time.
