refund not issued

In mid December cancel your loan called my with promises of getting all my money back form credit card charges or my money back. I asked for the paper work first before i agreed to anything but was told I needed to pay first before the paper work could be issued but a full refund would be issued if do not wish to go ahead. I agreed to pay the 495.00 and wait for the paper work. After reading the paper work however I decided this wasnt for my and aked for a full refund within the first week. It is now April and I am still waiting for my refund I have called nearly every week and there is always some excuse, is there any furthur action I can take?

I had the same experience as the above person who posted re. cancel your loan. I asked for paperwork first but was told I needed to pay first and could have a total refund if I changed my mind in the first 14 days, which I did, telephoning them to inform them I did not wish to go ahead. They asked that i put this in writing, which I did and followed up with a phone call. I was advised there would be no problem and I'd get a full refund. It is now May and I've had nothing - except numerous excuses each time I call. The latest is that they have had problems with fraud and cannot issue refunds until this is resolved. I had previously been told I would be refunded on 7th April, but that date came and went and still I have not had my money back and no satisfaction when I ring. I cannot afford the interest on my 2 credit cards they took money from and it's very stressful. I want to take this further but am unsure how?
