Last year I was looking for an apartment at the famous Rent.com and was happy to find a lot of great apartments in Plantation. I moved in and was promised by Harbor Town at Jacaranda that I would get my $100 reward card from Rent.com. Harbor Town acknowledge that they saw the promotion online but that it had nothing to do with them. Well on and on I contacted Rent.com regarding my rebate an as of this date I have yet to see any reward sent to me. All that was mentioned was that a check was going to be mailed. After that three months later with follow up emails, I have yet to get an email from Rent.com on rebate status. So for anyone who you know using Rent.com. Forget about the $100- reward card. I guess if I had the money I would file a fraud suit against them. Who knows how many other renters got scammed. say no to RENT.com

I found an apt in Massachusetts on rent.com. During the interview I was asked a lot of questions about my search and where I'd been looking. She asked if I used the papers or the internet and I said yes. I took the apt. and filled out the proper paper work for the RENT.COM $100.00 visa card. I never got it so I contacted them. They told me I didn't qualify because the woman who interviewed me reported I said I used places other than rent.com to find an apt. SCAM from the moment I walked through the door. It turns out RENT.COM charges the apt. complex a finders fee for people who use the services and sign a lease. Which brings us back to the girl in the renting office who kept asking me questions and took my answers out of context. They have no intention of paying you. If the renting office doesn't disqualify you RENT.COM will.
