Another unhappy customer!
Up until October 2011 I have been a satisfied Roach Waste Company customer for 3 years. In October they stopped servicing our address. I admit I was a little late on the payment, but this had never stopped them from picking up our trash before. I have always paid in advance, once I saw that they were not picking up our trash I realized what had happened and I sent them a check to cover October and pay through February 2012. After two weeks of not receiving service, I left a message stating that our trash was still not being picked up and the owner, Stephanie Roach never returned my phone call. After three weeks of trying to reach Stephanie, my husband was finally able to speak with her. Stephanie Roach explained to my husband that the reason they were no longer picking up our trash is because we have two houses on our property and they would have to start charging double. My husband said not to worry about picking up our trash we will take it to our office dumpster instead. He also informed her to please send the check back. She said she had not received the check yet but would send it back once she received it. I checked our bank account and two days after my husband spoke with her, she cashed the check. After I discovered this, I called Stephanie Roach and discovered that she is one of the rudest persons I have ever encountered in my life. She proceeded to tell me that she is going to keep my check to cover expenses from picking up trash for the second house on my property. I am in the process of having my bank look into this so that I can hopefully get my money back. I tried to explain to her several times during our conversation that if she would have contacted us to begin with, we could have resolved the issue and none of this would have happened. Of course she never let me get but a word here and there in. I asked her repeatedly to speak to me like an adult, but I believe that is beyond her comprehension. In my opinion, Stephanie Roach was deceitful and dishonest business with my husband and I. As you can see in the other complaint and several others on sites like Yahoo.com, she is extremely rude and has no idea what customer service is. Stephanie, if you keep treating your customers like this, YOU will be out of business and Stephanie, I will make sure to let everyone know including my neighbors about what kind of person you are and where your ethics lie. Since then we have signed up with Axxx Wxxxx Sxxxx and are very satisfied. If anyone in Ellis County needs trash service, we definitely recommend using Axxxx Wxxxx Sxxxx, they are a very reputable company with outstanding customer service.
