This is when I responded saying I was cancelling the transaction... he texted me from a 805-225-3738 number saying I needed to release/ cancell the paypal transaction bc he couldn't do it.
I'm yet to cancell :-) |

| I got the same guy and same story, EXACTLY... My question to you is Why havent you canceled the paypal transaction? What will happen if you don't cancel it on your side? I don't know what to do now. Do i cancel my transaction with him or not?? Is there a purpose in NOT canceling it myself like a legal purpose or a paypal security purpose??. I assumed that I would want to cancel the transaction asap but if there's a squash this loser by NOT canceling it I will gladly pursue that route. I've just never dealt with a scam like this that i'm aware of before.. Some advice on how to handle this will be greatly appreciated... |

| I was selling a table on craigslist for $600 obo, when I recieved an email from the following saying he was interested he sent me a cashiers check for $2800 telling me to then cash the check and wire the money to another individual, when i declined and offered to send him his check back he texted me from 805-225-3738 saying he wasnt here to scam me I researched his number on google and came across this article that read he was a scammer. when I tried to return his call it was a from a downloaded app for android called pinger, and wouldnt let me leave a message, I have filed a complaint, I am just so glad that I followed my instincts and didnt follow through with it |
