RockAuto.com RockAuto, LLC Sent me the wrong part and refused to correct the problem. Internet, Internet

I ordered a Timken seal, part # 2955, which is supposed to have a flange on it. According to both rockauto.com and timken.com, this seal is a flange seal. The original seal is a flange seal. What I received from RockAuto is an NOK seal in a Timken box. NOK part # UH0580E, which does not have a flange. I called and spoke to Josh at RockAuto and he informed me that this is an acceptable substitute. I disagreed, and tried to explain to him that I ordered this part specifically because it is shown in the image with a flange, and the description reads, "A flanged design allows for easier and proper installation and helps avoid cocking." He sent me a return shipping label but expects me to pay return shipping for a part that is clearly wrong. I e-mailed him several times asking him to simply issue a refund. He declined. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Buyer beware.

I too had a bad experience with customer service. They should tell you up front that nothing is returnable, even if they sell you the wrong part.
