These people asked to purchase my daughters Arabian and half Arabian show horses. I agreed, they made a few payments then "disappeared" from the face of the earth along with my horses. Listed below are the horses registration names and numbers. Ruth Helmhotlz and her daughters, one of them is Bethany, used them for showing and used two of the horses in their riding school. Please let em know if you know anything about my horses.....

| I just saw these horses & they are in terrible shape. As suggested I called the CC HSUS and their responce is that she is NOT licensed or a foster care facility. |

| I was in charge of feeding and turning in and out these horses for months and most days she said that they had fed early in the morning and she had lied because i was there at that time. the above named horses are all at that farm and are NOT fed. She tells people that she is rescuing them and in fact she is stealing them. |

| I do know first hand of some dishonest acts. They enter their horses in shows, but the coggins are not legit. They just whiteout dates, then make new copies so they don't have to pay vet bills. I knew Ruthann & Hugo when their youngest was a baby. I loved Ruth, I think she has a kind soul, but I feel her scams and swindling comes from having to support Hugo for so many years that she is in so deep she cant pull herself out. I boarded with her and started to notice my horse looking thin. When I questioned her, she was positive Hugo was feeding and chalked it up to my horse not being worked enough to keep muscle tone. Well, after a few weeks she came to me and said Hugo had been using all the board money for alcohol and his girlfriend. I then helped her with what I could because he abandoned her with kids in diapers and a ton of bills. She eventually left for the Midwest and not long after, Hugo chased her there. They left a stable full of horses, a lease not paid for months, and hay dealers, blacksmiths, and feed stores looking for their bills to be paid. I stayed at the farm, because the property owner had no idea how to care for all the horses, but I couldn't get any barn services because of the trail of debt they had left. I had gotten one letter from her once she got there, but that was it. I have no ill will towards her, but its not right if they have not paid this woman for her horses and I know in my gut, they never intended to. |
