Our Ryan Home was the culmination of 7 years of hard saving and living without. We did this to get what we wanted. Or so we thought. My family moved into our house 7 months ago and I have never been so frustrated with anything in my life. We have had over 50 issues with our home ranging from totally crooked cabinets in kitchen to destroyed yard by contractors on neighboring lots. We have carpet that is not fit for a dog kennel that is lifting and spotting from underneath. Siding that is curling up and so many drywall issues, I can't even begin to explain. We have rooms that are so cold at night (with temp. set at 68) that we cannot shut the door because our 2 year old son freezes. With temp. at 68 his room has measured as low as 51 degrees. No cold air returns will do that. Our dog is loosing fur due to toxins in basement. Over $600 in vet bills and no solution. She was perfectly healthy before moving in 7 months ago. We have a flooding backyard and a half finished (graffiti filled) fence in the rear of our property and so many similar complaints are coming from our neighbors. This company misrepresents what they are going to do to fix problems and exhausts it's customers by trying to convince them, everything will be fixed. I am so upset I have the VP of Ryan coming over tomorrow but I am sure I will get the runaround. I have a lawyer on retainer and am seriously investigating a class action suit for the issues I have and the mental wear I have incurred. No I am not whinning, if you have lived through what we are experiencing, you are sure to agree. It will cost me at least $10,000 of my own hard earned cash to make this house what we consider a home. Oh, I forgot to mention our deteriorating garage floor and the numerous cover-ups they tried to do with paint that doesn't match. Oh yeah, we have non working jets in our master bath! We have windows that when closed can blow out a lit candle! The house next door is so close and at a turn that looks like a duplex from 50 feet away. My property value is totally crushed and we have a drainage ditch in the middle of our yard. We had a microwave scratched, a dented stove and still have a crooked diswasher. We have faulty tiles and grount in every room. The caulk, forget is so cheap, I have recaulked the entire house in the first 4 months. Cheap hot water tank makes electric bill go to the moon! I will not stop fighting until I see some assemblence of a response! Join me in the fight!
