Searched for months on the internet before finally finding the teacup Pomeranian I've always wanted on the net at pomstogo. Paid Barbara King half of the 895 dollars that it cost me to buy the puppy she had named Prince Charming on there. It cost 35 dollars to wire it and then he was mine. I received short clips of him where he looked in perfect condition and kept in constant contact with her while waiting the two weeks until he would finally be able to be picked up. Drove to pick him up on Sun Jan 30 and spent the day waiting on Barbara in Tampa. We had made arrangements that I was to pick him up that day and after two 2 hours of driving and 5 hours of killing time in Tampa without any phone calls being returned I finally decided to drive to her house. It was 7pm when we finallly arrived, dark and she has a huge white security fence so you can't see in. It just so happened that when we arrived a corvette was leaving her house so she opened the gate and apologized to me saying she was so forgetful and then said she would go and get the puppy. She doesn't allow us into the house and disappears for 10-15 minutes. When she finally returns, she has the puppy and a flashlight. She sets him down in the little makeshift play area she has out front and immediately I notice that his back, left leg is injured. When I question her about it she assures me that he missed a step going up the stairs and he is fine. Takes me to the back of her car to sign paperwork and collects the other half of the money from me, gives me my paperwork and is ready for us to go. I ask her if I can read over the vet report and it says that the puppy has a patella luxation grade 4 and I explain that I need to know if that means he is going to need surgery. Once again she assures me that he has a clean bill of health and that he will most definitely not need surgery. So then I ask to see his mother and father to get an idea of how big he is going to be and she declines to show them to me because according to her she had already put them up for the night. I explained that I had driven 2 hours, waited 5 hours for her in Tampa and paid her 895 dollars plus what it cost me to wire her the money and that I felt the least she could do was let me see his parents. She still declined and said I'd have to come back another time. I have now consulted a vet only to find out that indeed he will need surgery and it is not something that just happened. This is something he was born with which explains the short video clips. She knew he was damaged and that he was going to need surgery and she lied and sold him anyway knowing that I had spent two weeks getting attached to a puppy I had never met and now that I have him of course I love him more that ever and have no desire to give him back, but I think she should be held liable for helping to pay for his surgery. She should refund my money for selling me a puppy she guaranteed that is in need of surgery. She will not answer my calls nor has she or will she return my messages. I am very upset that she would do this to the puppy more than anything. I could really use that 895 to pay to get him fixed and running around like he should be.
