Will not honor code SHIP2DAY even though it was listed on their website

On Sears main website page it states that the SHIP2DAY code is good for only today yet when you apply it the system rejects it and says it is invalid. I even got an email on this promotion. I chatted with a representative named Nyla and I was on hold for quite awhile. I truly believe that she had something to do with removing the code from the website while I was left waiting. First she told me it doesn't exist, then she told me to "clear out my cookies" ...can you believe this. Finally she said to pay and give her the order number and she would credit the shipping charge. I explained there were a couple of items I still wanted to order and then she disappeared. What is wrong with Sears? It is things like this that when you want to shop, Sears is the farthest thing from your mind. I can see why Sears isn't doing well in the marketplace. You can't trust them.
