| I am glad I checked scam Report before sending them $139.95, which I really couldn't spare at the time! They sent me a mailing from "John" saying I had been accepted into their membership of very influential and rich people, and that I would be able to go to workshops and meetings with these kinds of people very soon. I needed to send for a FREE 56-page Report first, and I needed to do it a day before I received their mailing. So, I sent it in, saying that we had unusual weather and I couldn't get to the Post Office. Sure enough, a 56-page Report came in the mail in a week or two, but it was from 2892 Westway Drive in Brunswick, OH 44212. It contained the request for the next level, which was the $139.95 for the Manuscript, and they wanted it mailed yesterday, too. I felt it sounded too good to be true, and when I read about all the folks who had been ripped off by them on scam Report, using various names and addresses for their "business," I was glad I checked them out before sending my money. I am $139.95 richer already! They assured me, of course, that I could get a refund within 90 days. Yeah, and automobiles can fly, too! They never supplied any other names, except what was in the Report, from people who supposedly "got rich" or some such! They never supplied an E-Mail Address, or any other addresses or phone numbers, other than those I've listed. I fully expect to receive some more mailings from them in the coming months! This is too good a scam for them to let a "sucker" off so lightly, especially since they never got any $$$ from me! I feel sorry for the other people who fell for this, as it sounds like a lot of them couldn't afford it any more than I could. Like the old saying goes, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!" I know we all want to believe in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and all this crowd, but let's wake up, folks, this ain't Hollywood! All that "magic stuff" is good entertainment, but it ain't real! I keep getting letters in the mail saying I've won $10 million, or some other specified prize, but nobody has sent any money or checks to me yet! One of them even wanted me to call their 800 number, but they didn't say the name of their outfit, so I figured it was just another con deal! I even got a phone call from a machine, wanting to know if this was Stanislaus Dreuckebdodevitskovitz; yes or no. That's all it said, and it only gave those 2 choices. It didn't say who was calling or who wanted to know, it just wanted to verify my name and that they had the right phone number. Now, how dumb do they think we are? I don't make a practice of talking to machines, especially those kind that don't identify themselves, but they want to extract some information from me! Jeez! I didn't press either "1" for "yes" or "2" for "no" - guess what I did? I pressed "3" for "other!" or "4" for "none of the above!" What did the dumb machine do? It just kept repeating itself, wanting to know if this was Stanislaus Dreuckebdodevitskovitz; yes or no. That's all it said, and it only gave those 2 choices. I even spoke, saying "none of the above," but the dumb machine had no ears! Or brain, either! Thank you, scam Report! |
